Surgical Instrument Staining & Quality: What Every IP Needs to Know
Instrument staining can often be dismissed as “just cosmetic,” but behind the discoloration can lie corrosion, improper chemistry, and breakdowns in process control. Join this one-hour session to uncover the science behind stain(less) steel, the regulatory expectations that impact Infection Prevention and Sterile Processing, and practical steps for identifying and correcting staining issues before they compromise patient safety.

This session bridges the gap between Infection Prevention and Sterile Processing—helping both disciplines speak the same language when it comes to instrument integrity, quality audits, and RCA methodology.
